By Car, From Athens Airport:

> > From the airport, take the ATTIKI ODOS towards Athens
> > Follow signs for ELEFSINA
> > Later, follow signs for KORINTHOS
> > After you cross the bridge over the Corinth Canal, the road divides.
> > Follow the LEFT lanes towards NAFPLIO.
> > Leave the motorway at the NEMEA interchange.
> > As soon as you leave the motorway, turn to the LEFT, and you will drive down a long, straight hill.
> > Near the bottom of the hill turn RIGHT over the train tracks.
> > The road winds down towards Nafplio. When you see a sign for MYCENAE (MIKINES) you will turn LEFT
> > Follow the road towards Nafplio - You will see the castle (illuminated at night) in the distance
> > The road is under construction (2007), so as you approach Nafplio you will need to turn right and then left, and continue on the old road.
> > Tolo is signposted from Nafplio.

Driving from the airport takes about two hours, and the roads are usually very clear. Weekends (especially Friday night) can be busy.
